SmaRT 18

Cervis SmaRT Wireless Controls

The SmaRT 18 Handheld Remote features a flexible programmable control with custom configuration of up to sixteen outputs.  It is capable of communicating with a wide variety of SmaRT base units.  The two line display provides instant verification of control activity and machine feedback.  The adjustable backlight and contrast allow control of power consumption to conserve battery life.

Using  Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) wireless technology at 900MHz or 2.4GHz, the SmaRT Handheld 18 provides a robust link with a SmaRT base unit in congested radio environments.  The Remote features seamless association to the base unit without the need to open the handheld or base unit enclosures.

The unit’s enclosure is constructed of rugged high impact polymer with a clear polycarbonate lens over the display.  A stainless steel faceplate is securely attached to provide additional ruggedness.

SmaRT 18 Handheld controls can be programmed as DO or OO for push button units.

DOO - Dedicated ON/OFF button where the handheld must be turned on by the ON/OFF button prior to any function buttons allowing output activation.  Typically, a programmable inactivity timer is enabled to conserve battery life while in this mode.

OO - Dedicated ON and Dedicated OFF button where the handheld utilizes independent ON and OFF buttons and the handheld must be turned ON prior to any function buttons allowing output activation.  Typically, a programmable inactivity timer is enabled to conserve battery life while in this made.

The SmaRT 18 Handheld can be paired with either the SmaRT Solid State Base Unit or Relay Contact Base Unit.
