Outside Sales Representative

Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports to: Director of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service

Position Description:

  • Maintain a sales territory as assigned
  • Support both application development and product development where applicable
  • Maintain solid business hours and availability to the organization
  • Work with the Vice President of Sales to provide information as related to sales opportunities
  • As much as 50% travel may be required

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • 7-10 years sales experience

Minimum Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Able to resolve conflicts
  • Able to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office
  • Maintain a current and valid driver’s license
  • Leadership and cooperation with the full Cervis staff

Education Requirements:

  • 4 year Business degree or equivalent experience with technical aptitude
  • 2 year technical degree with sales and marketing experience

During or Upon Completion of Initial Training*:

  • Able to present written and verbal proposals to customers
  • Able to work with applications engineers to provide the customer with a product that meets their needs
  • Demonstrate dedication, determination and performance in the position
